Though the market is in the open and relatively dirty, you can get fresh fruits at incredible prices. It is one of the most popular markets in Krabi.

All sorts of fresh fruits are available here, though some like Durians and Lychees are seasonal. You will love their unripe mangoes, which is a local delicacy. Tamarinds - cheap and sweet, about US{ARTICLE_BODY}.60 a kilo. Durians - Smooth and sweeter than other Asian counterparts. Pineapple - Juicier and not as sharp tasting as its Asian cousins.

Dates - Large, very fresh and ripe. Choose hard ones for freshness. The prices vary to about 30 Baht for a kilogram of dates 40 Baht for a kilogram of tamarinds. All juicy fruits are also available.
