Pimalai Resort & Spa is the first and unique 5 stars property existing on Koh Lanta, Krabi, Thailand. The resort was recently awarded “Kinnari 2004/ Excellence for the Best Tourism Accommodation in southern region by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. It is built on a splendid area of 100 acres of hilly land of lush tropical forest with direct access to a 900 meters spotless sandy beach. A great emphasis is placed by the architects to conserve the environment when designing the low rise southern style buildings and this result today in a resort complementing the setting rather than competing with it. The location of the spa is in the deeply nestled in the lush Ba Kan Tiang Bay. Spa rests in the lush sloping valley, lays Pimalai Spa, where the winds bring flashes of light scent to the small walled treatment rooms, each named after a local flower. The Spa aims to bring back the guests to the nature. The spa rests in the small village, the pretty small straw roofed 'Salas' blend totally with the natural beauty of the jungle. The seven treatment huts equipped with double or single beds are mainly used for aromatherapy massages and body wraps or body scrub treatments. Thai traditional massage is also given to the guests, the herbal sauna just awaits for you to dip in, refresh and cleanse your body and mind before your selected treatment.
